1、About XJTLU西浦簡介

Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) is an international higher education institution, jointly founded by Xi’an Jiaotong University, China and the University of Liverpool, UK in 2006 as the result of a strong-strong cooperation. As an independent Sino-Foreign cooperative university, it captures the essence of both prestigious parent universities and is the first and only one of its kind to be approved by the Ministry of Education in China.

西交利物浦大學(XJTLU)是由西安交通大學和英國利物浦大學合作創立的，具有獨立法人和鮮明特色的新型國際大學，她是中國目前唯一一所強強合作，以理、工、管起步，以英語為主要教學語言、在本一批次招生的中外合作大學，也是目前唯一一所擁有中華人民共和國學士學位授予權的中外合作大學。經過數年發展，西交利物浦大學獨特的大學理念、高水準的人才培養質量和濃厚的國際化特色得到社會各界的廣泛關注和認可，被譽為“中外合作大學的標桿”和“中國高等教育改革的探路者”。

Ø PhD Programme博士課程

Doctoral studies are based on carrying out projects in various research areas. We offer doctoral research projects in 12 academic departments at XJTLU. These departments include:博士學習以進行不同領域的課題研究為主, 目前西浦有12個系設有各大領域的研究課題。這些系包括：

· Duration: 3-4 years for full-time students; 4-8 years for part-time students;

· Co-supervisors: XJTLU Primary supervisor and UoL secondary supervisor;

· Research/study Visit funded by XJTLU and UoL;

· Conference Travel funded by XJTLU .

o 修業年限: 全日制學生3-4年，非全日制學生4-8年;

o 博士生實行雙導師制， 西浦導師為主，利物浦導師為輔;

o 可公費在英國利物浦大學研究學習1-3個月;

o 可公費參加國內及國際性學術會議，發表學術成果。

3、Academic Requirement 學業要求

· UK: Bachelor’s degree with upper second class honours;

· China: Bachelor’s degree from the 1st or 2nd tier universities: 75% or 80% above;

· Other regions: equivalent academic qualification.

o 英國：二級甲等(平均70分)或以上，榮譽學士學位;

o 中國：本一或本二批次高校，本一批次平均75分以上，本二批次平均80分以上;

o 其他地區： 同等條件的成績證明。

4、English Language Requirements 英語語言要求

· Minimum overall band 6.5 in IELTS with over 6.0 on any individual component;

· Minimum 230 on computer-based TOEFL test or minimum 88 on Internet-based TOEFL test;

· Native speakers of English and those who obtained entry qualification in English do NOT need to provide evidence of English proficiency.

o 雅思6.0-6.5 或以上，且聽說讀寫各項得分均在6.0分或以上;

o 托福機考230分以上，網考88分以上;

o 英語為母語的學生以及本科或碩士學位課程為全英文授課的學生，一般無須提供英語能力證明。

5、Scholarships 獎學金

Ø Master Scholarships 碩士獎學金

· XJTLU offers a generous scholarship of 50% of total tuition fee, based on academic merit.

· If you apply before 1st April 2014, you will automatically be considered for the graduate scholarship, and no separate application is required.

· Note: No scholarships are currently offered for the International MBA programme.

o 獎學金為學費的 50%。

o 如在2014年4月1日前提交申請，獎學金委員會將自動審核申請者資料，對于條件符合者擇優授予獎學金。

o 注意：國際 MBA 課程目前不設獎學金。

Ø Doctoral Scholarships 博士獎學金

· Available for full-time doctoral students at XJTLU

· Awarded on academic merit

· Cover tuition fee and a monthly stipend of RMB 3,500 for three years

o 所有全日制學生可申請西浦博士獎學金

o 是否授予獎學金取決于學生的學業成績

o 博士獎學金包括每年學費和每月人民幣3, 500元的補助

6、Tuition Fee 學費

Ø Master Fees碩士課程學費

· RMB 90,000-15,000/total for full-time students 全日制學生 ：總計人民幣9萬到15萬

· RMB 90,000-32,000/total for part-time students 非全日制學生： 總計人民幣9萬到32萬

Ø Doctoral Fees博士課程學費

· RMB 80,000/year for full-time students 全日制學生 ：人民幣8萬/年

· RMB 60,000/year for part-time students 非全日制學生： 人民幣6萬/年
